Class Description
​
At Little Barn, your musical theatre journey can begin as early as the tender ages of 0 - 3 y in our Mommy (Daddy) and Me Musical Theatre classes.
These classes are taught with a pianist or guitarist and lead singer or dancer to take you and your theatre baby - dancer / singer / actor - away on a music, song and dance journey with show tunes, nursery rhymes and a little pop music too!
Scarves, puppets, bubbles, all sorts of instruments and props as well as stories and lessons make each class unique and entertaining for mom and dad and delightfully predictable for your baby.

This class features classic children’s music favourites such as Row Your Boat, Twinkle Little Star and Incy Wincy Spider with a musical theatre twist! We love sharing our passion for show tunes with songs from Gypsy, Sound Of Music, South Pacific and Frozen to name a few.
​
During the class you and your little one will discover sound and rhythm and will sing and dance along to these wonderful classics with live and recorded music.
​
We will provide baby friendly instruments and props (all pre-sanitized) for your child to use during the time, but parents are more than welcome to bring their own too!
​
If you don’t know the songs, don’t worry! We’re here to teach both babies AND parents - parent participation is key! When your child sees you singing and moving along with our teachers, it encourages a safe environment to explore and learn.

Suggested Outfits
​
Parents should come dressed in clothes that are comfortable to move in.
Toddlers should wear their favourite dance outfit, so they feel like the beautiful little dancers they are.
